UUCNH Youth Group

Grades 7–12

Your voice. Your ideas. Your community.

The UUCNH Youth Group is a place for young people in grades 7–12 to build friendships, explore their UU faith, make a difference in the world, and have fun together.  Youth  meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month during the Sunday service.

Our youth group is grounded in the Six Pillars of Balanced UU Youth Ministry:

  • Building Community – creating a welcoming space where youth can build friendships and feel a sense of belonging.
  • Worship – exploring spirituality and finding meaningful ways to participate in worship and ritual.
  • Social Action – putting UU values into action through service and social justice projects.
  • Learning – exploring UU beliefs, values, spirituality, ethics, and the world around us.
  • Leadership – developing leadership skills and giving youth meaningful opportunities to lead.
  • Congregational Involvement – helping youth feel like an important and valued part of the larger UUCNH community.

And the best part? The youth help decide what happens!

Youth choose the topics they want to explore, the service projects they want to participate in, and the fun activities they want to do together. Adults are there to provide support, guidance, and a safe space while giving youth the opportunity to take ownership of their group.

Whether we're talking about big questions, serving our community, planning a worship service, playing games, or simply hanging out with friends, there is a place for your voice here.

Come as you are. Bring your ideas. Help shape what we do next.
