Children’s Chapel

A place to learn, share, and grow together.

On occasional Sundays, children of all ages are invited to gather together for Children’s Chapel—a special time for kids to learn, explore, create, and connect with one another.

Each Children’s Chapel is a little different, but there are a few things that make it special.

Learning from Our Community

One of the most exciting parts of Children’s Chapel is learning from the talented people right here in our congregation!

We invite UUCNH members to share a skill, passion, or experience with the children. We have learned sign language from a professional interpreter, explored drumming with a musician, and learned watercolor painting from an artist.

Who knows what we’ll discover next?

Sharing Our Abundance

We believe that we all have something to share. During Children’s Chapel, children are invited to bring non-perishable food items to add to our community food closet. These items are shared with our outreach partners and help us put our UU values into action.

All Ages Together

Children’s Chapel brings kids of different ages together to learn from one another, try new things, and build relationships. Older children have opportunities to help and encourage younger children, while everyone gets to be part of the experience.

Children’s Chapel is about discovering that learning can happen anywhere, everyone has something to teach, and we all have something to give.
